Each of these Sacred Somatic Journeys can be downloaded and kept forever, allowing you to return again and again, following your own pace, cycles and flow.
This is an invitation to slow down and to feel and to listen. Not just with the mind, but with your whole self.
listen. feel. receive.
let your body be the guide.
What Are Sacred Somatic Journeys? Exploring Body, Myth and Nature
Sacred Somatic Journeys are immersive audio-guided embodiment practices that weave together somatic awareness, nature connection, archetypal exploration and ritual.
Each journey offers a trauma-informed, identity-affirming and neurodiversity-friendly space to reconnect with the body, the seasons and the more-than-human world.
There’s no programme or membership to commit to, you choose the journeys that call to you. Download them, keep them and explore them in your own rhythm, wherever you are.
If you feel called to explore this work in person, you’re invited to explore my Rooted Self Connection Sessions.
These embodied, Sacred Somatic Journeys offer a bridge between the intimacy of in-person gatherings and the comfort and flexibility of your own space. In a world that values doing over being, speed over stillness, and productivity over presence, these practices invite you to return to your body’s wisdom and to the cycles of the earth.
Through sensory awareness, somatic experiencing and gentle guidance, you’ll be invited to:
Reconnect with the intelligence of your body and the living world
Find calm, grounding and belonging through the seasons
Reclaim ritual as an embodied, personal practice
Meet archetypal wisdom through felt experience, not just concept
Cultivate presence and meaning in everyday life
This isn’t a course with an ending, but a spiral unfolding; a living path that you are invited to walk with the seasons.
The Intention
The Structure
Each season brings an extended somatic ritual; a ceremonial circle that opens and closes sacred space, honours the elements and explores the energies of the season. This is a practice you can return to again and again as the cycle unfolds.
Each month you’ll also find two shorter audio practices:
One exploring archetypal wisdom
One deepening connection with nature
Some journeys take you outdoors into the living landscape, others invite you into intentional space within your home. All are designed to bring presence and embodied awareness, allowing the inner world to awaken and the wildness of nature and myth to enter.
Beyond Meditation
Sacred Somatic Journeys go beyond traditional meditation. Rather than observing our experience with the mind, we listen with the body, through attunement, sensation and embodied presence. We’ll explore through three interwoven lenses:
Embodied Nature; attuning to the rhythms and intelligence of the living world.
Embodied Ceremony; grounding spiritual practice through sensory experience and ritual.
Embodied Archetypes; awakening the mythic patterns within through felt expression and imagery.
Grounded in somatic therapy, psychology, eco therapy and ritual, this work invites you to inhabit your body and move with the rhythms of self and season

What Other People Say
“I attended one of Laura’s offerings and I just want to say how incredibly nourishing it was. Laura’s work blends her meditation, integrative counselling & nature therapy trainings (plus more), alongside her extensive knowledge of Paganism & spiritually, whilst honouring practices, culture & diversity. You can tell that Laura is deeply committed to this work and way of living.”
“After multiple attempts at therapy, Laura is the first person who has made me feel seen, understood, and valued. She shows real humanity and compassion, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills yet without pushing an agenda. As summer fades and the final harvests are gathered, we turn toward the darker half of the year, asking what will sustain us through the months ahead. Autumn arrives in a blaze of colour and abundance with hedgerows full of berries, woodsmoke lingering on the morning air and leaves drifting like embers to the ground. It is a season of letting go, slowing down and gathering what nourishes body, mind and spirit; a time to honour endings and make space for what is yet to come.
Each season offers an extended Embodied Ceremony journey, as well as a new Embodied Nature and Embodied Archetypes practice each month. Autumn’s Embodied Ceremony:
Honouring the Ancestors
This season’s Embodied Ceremony explores the energies of Autumn and honouring our ancestors. We often associate ancestors with family lines but ancestry can also live in the land we walk on, the traditions we carry and the communities that shape us.
In opening space for all forms of ancestry, we can honour the living web that holds us, even when our roots feel uncertain. Through somatic invitations we’ll step into a ceremonial circle, call in the elements, open a sacred space and listen through the body.
Honouring the Ancestors invites you to connect with the seen and unseen, remembering yourself as part of a lineage of life and letting that remembrance be felt in your body.
Duration: 70-minute guided audio. You may wish to allow some time at the end for reflection and integration.
You’ll receive: an MP3 audio journey and a companion PDF with the script, reflection prompts and details of everything you’ll need for your journey.
October’s Embodied Nature Journey:
The Sitting Place in Autumn
As the year spirals inward, The Sitting Place in Autumn invites you to meet the turning season through stillness, embodied listening, sensing and feeling. The Sitting Place is a simple practice of connecting to a place on the land, or to an element of the natural world from a window.
In this journey you’ll attune to your senses, as well as the world around you, connecting with Autumn’s energies of balance and release. The trees let go, the earth receives and we find our equilibrium before entering the dark half of the year.
When we come to stillness in nature, we remember that we are part of it, deepening our relationship with the more-than-human world through presence, curiosity and attention to subtle change.
Duration: 32-minute guided audio. You may wish to allow some time at the end for reflection and integration.
You’ll receive: an MP3 audio journey and a companion PDF with the script, reflection prompts and details of everything you’ll need for your practice
October’s Embodied Archetype Journey:
Persephone’s Descent
Persephone’s story is woven into the turning of the seasons. Each autumn, as the sun wanes and the earth begins to rest, she descends into the underworld. Her mother, Demeter, goddess of harvest and abundance, mourns her absence and, as she mourns the fields fall fallow, bringing the arrival of autumn and winter. When Persephone returns the earth awakens and spring returns.
In the old tellings of this story, Persephone is taken by Hades and her agency is stripped away. What happens when we view myths as living things and this becomes a story not only of loss, but of initiation. A call to meet the dark, to remember what wisdom lives there and to emerge changed.
In this journey you’ll attune to your senses, your body and your breath to experience Persephone’s Descent from within. Through embodied awareness and gentle reflection, we’ll explore the thresholds between light and shadow, above and below, death and renewal.
Duration: 40-minute guided audio. You may wish to allow some time at the end for reflection and integration.
You’ll receive: an MP3 audio journey and a companion PDF with the script, reflection prompts and details of everything you’ll need for your practice.

As winter settles in and the earth draws inward, we enter the stillness of the dark. The vibrant hues of autumn have softened into quiet tones, bare branches etched against pale skies, frost tracing patterns on the land and the air sharp with cold. This is a season of deep rest and reflection, of tending the inner flame and listening for what lies beneath the surface. Winter invites us to slow to the pace of the earth, to honour the pause and to gather strength for the months ahead.

Spring’s Journeys
As winter loosens its hold and light returns to the land, the earth begins to stir again. Buds appear on bare branches, birdsong threads through the morning air and the scent of new growth rises from damp soil. Spring is a season of awakening and gentle emergence after the long pause. Beginnings unfurl in their own time and invite us to stretch toward the light, to soften what has emerged in the dark and to meet renewal with curiosity and care.

Summer’s Journeys
As the days reach their fullest light and the earth hums with life, summer gathers us into its warmth. Blossoms give way to fruit, the air is rich with bee song and the scent of ripening fields, and long evenings stretch like golden threads across the sky. This is a season of fullness and vitality, of tending what has grown from our earlier intentions, of savouring the abundance that surrounds and sustains us. Summer invites us to rest in our ripeness, to celebrate what is blooming, and to offer gratitude for the light before it begins to wane.
