Hello and thanks for being here

Before I share the official stuff, I want to start with the human side of things. You might be here because you're looking for care, insight, or an affirming space where you can feel seen. You might be hoping to deepen your connection with yourself and the world around you, or maybe there's something difficult you're ready to explore and you know you don't want to face it alone.

I know what that feels like. I've experienced the exhaustion of navigating mental health challenges, discovering my neurodivergence later in life, searching for meaning, and having to unlearn in order to learn how to cultivate a deeper connection to myself, to others, and to the world around me. This is very much an ongoing process because I believe that knowing and honouring ourselves is a journey, not a destination.

Spaces where you can explore, feel, understand or process

I also believe that we can learn to reconnect with ourselves in many different ways. Sometimes that happens in the therapy room, in community, in nature, through reflection, or through personal practice and rituals. Often, it's a combination of all of these. My role isn't to tell you who you are or how you should live. It's to offer spaces where you can explore what ever it is that you need to feel, understand or process in ways that feel grounded, authentic and sustainable.

As a BACP registered counsellor, I offer therapy that integrates psychotherapeutic and humanistic counselling, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed practice. Alongside one-to-one therapy, I also offer wellbeing workshops, guided somatic meditation practices, social events, and group experiences that explore connection to our selves, each another, and the natural world. Everything I offer is trauma-aware, and affirming of all aspects of identity that might impact your experience in the world.

Psychology, neuroscience, embodiment, ritual, folklore, and nature

My work blends psychology and neuroscience, along with with embodiment, ritual, folklore, and nature, creating spaces that honour lived experience and wisdom, as well as evidence based practices. If that resonates with you, take a look around. Head to the menu above, where you can explore my different offerings or my blog where you can find resources and reflections to support you. • Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift

  • As a therapist, I believe we have an ethical duty to place it on the table and let people know that the pain they experience due to inequities and racism is part of why things are not balanced for them
