Mindfulness Nature Walk // Stirchley Together

We’ll begin with a short introduction to mindfulness and how you can use it as a tool to be more present when exploring nature, along with a short mindfulness meditation. We’ll then go on to use a series of mindfulness prompts, to explore the river Rea. We’ll finish with another short mindfulness session.

Studies show that spending time looking at nature has a calming effect on the brain, and mindfulness has a whole host of benefits including increased feelings of wellbeing, calming the nervous system, focussing energy and boosting the immune system. Mindfulness combined with nature is a great way to bring peace and calm, while exploring the hidden nature all around you.
